I have to say, Volvo is my go-to manufacturer at the moment. The consistency in design and the build quality—both exterior and interior—are unbeatable. OK, they may not be as thrilling to drive as a BMW, but to be honest, only a few BMWs are truly fun to drive.
With the new fully electric ES90, Volvo stays true to itself. A spiritual successor to the S90 sedan, the ES90 leans more towards a sedan-MPV hybrid. It marks a step away from combustion engines and a giant leap into the fully electric future… or does it?
All I desire in an EV is range. The mechanical suspension setup and chassis engineering are known quantities. Autogefühl provides a hands-on overview of the new ES90, though only in a studio setting.
