BMW Z Vision concept

At the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, BMW unveiled the X5 EfficientDynamics concept, a hybrid diesel variant of the BMW X5 luxury SUV. Last week, BMW announced that it’s bringing a new concept vehicle to Frankfurt this September — a vehicle that will take the EfficientDynamics concept at least one step further, if not more. Not only is this model expected to employ sustainably derived materials in its construction, but rumor has it that the vehicle will also be powered by an electric motor.

Now, photos have emerged that claim to have caught the vehicle — the BMW Z Vision Concept — en route to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Although most of the car is masked, we’re afforded several great views of its silhouette, and we have to say, we’re intrigued.
